Blue Moon
... or Having your cake and eating it too

I know I say that the Anita Blake series jumped the shark during Books 10-12, but let's just say that Anita starts water-skiing towards the fins in Blue Moon. All the stuff that later makes you want to impale yourself on a stripper pole starts to rear its ugly head here, from Anita being a total psychotic whore to anyone who has sex with someone who ISN'T her suffering horrible fates.

So what is the plot of this book? Well, Anita has to go save Richard from rape accusations, but it's all a setup for her and her harem bodyguards to go to... some other state with lots of racist rednecks, and have sex with Richard because any penis Anita wants, she gets.
