This is what LKH decided to call a "bonus" novel, because it sounds nicer and more positive than "I am doing whatever I can to put off writing my next Merry Gentry novel."
And it was apparently inspired by Hamilton, Jon her husband her husband Jon and some of their "friends" whom they don't seem to talk to anymore. Apparently their sex appeal was just so overwhelming that they reduce waiters to gibbering morons.
